Eleanor is a member of the industrial design group at Team, working as a Design Intern during her industrial placement year at Loughborough University. Her role involves working on design briefs for in-house and client projects, and working in development teams for medical devices.
“I was particularly driven to work in medical design because of the reward in working towards helping people, and the ability to have a direct impact on people’s quality of life. I also appreciate the longevity that medical products tend to have compared to others, which generally have a much shorter lifecycle.”
Eleanor is a third year Industrial Design student at Loughborough University. Her most recent project was a portable device that detects allergens present in food samples, providing peace of mind for sufferers of mild to severe food allergies.
