Brian works as the Head of IT, in his role he ensures the protection of all our ICT and data assets to ensure their confidentiality, integrity and availability to support the company’s various requirements and future expansion.

“My role is to identify the threats and risks faced by our ICT infrastructure and data assets and find the most appropriate way to mitigate them, whilst maintaining the balance between security and usability.”

Prior to joining in 2018, Brian worked in a number of ICT roles at Marshall Aerospace & Defence Group for 8 years. Initially in a CAD support role, leading a team of application support engineers in support of the Aircraft Design Office; Brian most recently worked in ICT Governance and Compliance where he assisted in developing a Governance Framework, carried out internal auditing and project managed a number of key Cyber Security projects.

After an early career in Avionic engineering – another highly regulated engineering environment – Brian moved into IT in 2006 whilst still working for the MoD, underpinned by a BSc in ICT and Computing from the Open University which he completed in 2012.
