Simon is head of one of our Mechanical Engineering Groups, where his role combines his expertise in mechanical engineering, product development and manufacturing while also working to support and develop his team. Simon has a broad range of experience and works on products across the medical device development pathway, from concept through to transfer to manufacture. An established expert in surgical tools, diagnostics and devices, he enjoys working on a variety of projects for our clients.

With a background in mechanical engineering, Simon has built his expertise working on medical devices along with a variety of other product developments. Prior to Team Consulting, he headed up the development of surgical robotic instruments for five years, while before that he spent 11 years working on various projects at another consultancy. He has an MEng in Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University.
