As part of Team Consulting’s mechanical engineering group, Freddie combines his engineering experience with user-centric design to develop products that not only meet technical requirements but also provide a positive and satisfying user experience.

“My passion for developing robust solutions for clients and improving the health of end users is what drives me at Team.”

“I find working on a diverse range of projects and facing interdisciplinary challenges incredibly rewarding. I particularly enjoy applying my creative and problem-solving skills to turn innovative ideas into tangible solutions.”

Freddie’s recent projects have included technology scouting for a respiratory drug delivery device, a usability assessment of an ophthalmic device and the industrialisation of an emergency use auto-injector. He works closely with our manufacturing partners and suppliers to support scale-up to high-volume manufacture, including validation of production tooling and assembly equipment. As a certified SolidWorks user, Freddie aids device development from concept and prototyping through to detailed engineering, industrialisation and scale-up.

Freddie graduated with a first-class degree in MEng Engineering Design from the University of Bristol, where he specialised in mechanical engineering. During his studies, he developed his own bespoke peristaltic pump, before completing a year’s experience at an engineering design agency where he achieved his first patent for a bespoke piston pump. Freddie brings experience of both consumer and medical product development, having worked on a diverse range of products, including drug delivery devices, robotics and surgical tools.
