Michael is a senior consultant specialising in rapid problem solving and the optimisation of complex systems through a combination of maths modelling and physical testing. He has a particular interest in understanding the effects of variation within a system, to ensure that robust and reliable engineering solutions can be delivered to our clients.
He has worked on a range of medical device projects at Team Consulting, covering the drug delivery, surgical and medical technology sectors; where he has been involved in both developing new and improving existing products for a range of global clients.

Michael has an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and is a certified Six Sigma black belt. Prior to joining Team, he spent 13 years in the automotive industry working as the technical project leader within a range of advanced internal combustion engine development programs. Companies he’s worked for include Lotus Cars, Cummins Turbo Technologies and SAIC Motor UK.
