As a senior consultant within the design team, Steven’s breadth and depth of experience allows him to work seamlessly across the multiple disciplines at Team Consulting. With a background in product design and a hands-on practical approach to problem solving, Steven is involved in all aspects of the product development process.
He supports clients through the proposal and planning stage, helps to uncover user insights and unmet needs, and is experienced in opportunity exploration, conceptualisation, design and engineering development, risk management, verification & validation to specification for manufacture, pre-production validation and tech transfer.

Steven has over 20 years’ experience working for a leading product and service design innovation consultancy, and more recently, for a global blue-chip healthcare and consumer electronics company. His early work in consultancy was in the design and development of rugged/waterproof industrial products and also consumer, telecoms and FMCG products. His experience in medical/pharma spans more than 15 years, designing and managing a wide range of medical devices and healthcare products, including drug transfer and delivery devices; reconstitution systems; topical medicament dispensing applicators; pill containers and dispensers; device accessories; and needle-safe disposable devices.
Steven has a degree in Product Design from Glasgow School of Art. He is a named inventor on numerous patents and has worked closely with manufacturers in the UK, EU, US and the Far East.
