Team Consulting is an employee-owned, award-winning device design and development consultancy. We focus solely on medical products and devices, supporting international clients from large companies to start ups. As part of the digital health team, you will be working in our high-tech labs and workshop spaces which are set within our 13th Century barn in the Cambridge countryside, 5 mins from J10 of the M11.

Our clients come to us for all stages of medical device development. By combining our expertise and experience in design, engineering, and human factors, we help our clients develop medical devices from early concept through to commercial launch.

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer who can take the lead on a broad range of challenging projects including digital therapeutics, drug delivery, diagnostics and surgical devices, working with designers, researchers, human factors experts, software and hardware engineers.

  • Think deeply about medical device and healthcare system interactions, getting to the core of issues and designing robust, useable and meaningful solutions
  • Develop and communicate ideas based on insights gathered through research to users and clients utilising a diverse set of approaches
  • Work from product strategy and vision, through concept development, prototyping to specification and production support
  • Act as a user experience evangelist within diverse project teams
  • Play an active role in continually improving our UX and UI design capabilities and systems
  • Be obsessed with excellence, but pragmatic in delivering the best possible solution within time, budget and regulatory constraints
  • You’ll take responsibility for your own activities on projects, contribute to proposal preparation and project planning, and will help support the development and communication of our digital design capability.
