Stewart is responsible for the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, medical device development projects. Stewart has particular expertise in surgical instruments, in vitro diagnostic instruments, and drug delivery devices.

Stewart is a mechanical engineer and graduated from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom with a first-class degree in Engineering Science. He has worked on and managed a wide range of projects through all stages of development, key projects include the development of a novel colonoscope, a thermography system, a handset for use in electrosurgery and an organ preservation system, among many more.
