Isobel is a Mechanical Engineer Specialist at Team Consulting. Working across a variety of projects, she applies her mechanical and bioengineering background to areas including math modeling.
“I’ve known for a while that I wanted to go into medical device engineering – that’s why working at Team was so appealing, as it’s solely medical focused. I like mechanical engineering because I love designing things and feeling the satisfaction of seeing my ideas working physically.”
Isobel graduated from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom with a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Bioengineering. Her final Master’s project looked at developing methods of analyzing bone structure, with the long-term goal of improving osteoporosis diagnoses. Before joining Team, Isobel also undertook a number of internships, including a placement at Xaar looking at material characterization, predicting how different fluids & materials would react with each other.
