Georgia is a Mechanical Engineer Specialist at Team Consulting. In her role, Georgia applies her background in biology and engineering to the development of medical devices, including parenteral and respiratory drug delivery devices. She is responsible for developing test methods relating to design verification testing of a number of different products, all to cGMP guidelines.

Her recent projects have included data analysis and validation of test methods for end-stage testing and an in-depth examination of market-ready auto-injectors, where manufacturing deviations have created unacceptable outputs.

“Joining Team has given me a huge insight into the world of medical device design and development. It has shown me the importance of methodical and thorough design planning. I hope to be able to apply this knowledge during my engineering career to produce innovative and life-changing products that live up to the rigorous standards required by the industry.”

Georgia graduated from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom with a first-class BEng in Medical Engineering, where she won the Institute of Mechanical Engineers Prize for the best student. During her university career, Georgia contributed to a number of research projects, such as the analysis of human movement by studying how motion is coordinated and how it can be manipulated. She was also involved in studies with a number of different focus groups, including amputees and athletes.
