Precision drug delivery

Combining applied science, robust engineering and user‑centred design, we help you create next-generation delivery and infusion systems, designing workflow‑ready devices that enable reliable dose measurement, verification and traceability. Through early‑stage dose modelling, system‑level optimisation and automation, we reduce variability, manage risk and help you deliver theranostic drug delivery solutions that perform within time‑critical clinical pathways.

Clinical workflow and real-world use

Nuclear medicine environments place unique demands on both technology and the people who use it. We put clinical workflow and user needs at the centre of your development, designing theranostic drug delivery solutions that fit seamlessly into existing imaging pathways and departmental practices.

Building a deep understanding of the realities of busy nuclear medicine departments, from preparation and administration through to imaging and follow up, we help ensure solutions are intuitive, efficient and safe to use. Our user centred approach balances technical performance with human factors, regulatory requirements and practical constraints, reducing the risk of error and supporting confident adoption in real world clinical settings.

Packaging and transportation

Our nuclear medicine experts help you design and develop compliant Type A packaging and clinical workflows for the transportation of radioactive sources (IAEA SSR-6). With experience designing radiation shielding and transport systems for high-activity radiopharmaceuticals, we understand the need to combine safety and ergonomics with regulatory requirements, to ensure your therapies move efficiently through tightly timed clinical pathways.

Working closely with radiopharmaceutical stakeholders and representative users, we immerse ourselves in your product journey, helping you create efficient usability and handling workflows that reduce exposure risk while maintaining efficient throughput.

Generation and purification

We help you solve the complex engineering challenges behind radionuclide generation and purification by delivering robust, user centred equipment that performs reliably in demanding clinical and manufacturing settings. From equipment design, radiation shielding and automation to the integration of off the shelf equipment, we create solutions that are safe, intuitive and designed for dual regulation across pharmaceutical and radiation safety requirements.

Our experience spans full turnkey development of radionuclide generators, automation equipment and optimisation of beta and gamma detection systems. By combining applied science with rigorous engineering, we help you reduce technical risk while accelerating your development.

Quality control

Integrating analytical technologies directly into your development process allows you to achieve reliable quality control in your nuclear medicine product. Our team applies modelling, data driven insight and pragmatic assay integration to help you understand variability, validate performance and detect issues early.

By embedding fit for purpose analytical tools into your equipment and workflows, we enable faster, more confident decision making and robust batch to batch consistency. Whether you need rapid quality control (QC) workflows, automated analytical checks or evidence based dose verification, we help you de risk development and deliver safe, predictable and commercially ready nuclear medicine solutions.

Analytics and modelling

Advanced analytics and modelling give you early, quantitative insight into complex nuclear medicine systems, enabling more confident technical and commercial decisions in your programme. By modelling concentrations and activities across complex decay chains, we help you gain a clearer understanding of dose behaviour, variability and uncertainty, reducing assumptions and helping you avoid costly changes in late-stage development.

Drawing on these insights, we help you create safer, more efficient system design. This includes analysing radiation emissions and absorption to optimise shielding and design, as well as radiation pulse shape modelling to develop type specific radiation detection algorithms. Together, this evidence base allows you to reduces technical risk, strengthen design justification and accelerate the delivery of reliable, high performance nuclear medicine technologies.

Shielding and safety

Through our experience developing nuclear medicine systems that meet regulatory standards for shielding and safety, we ensure your technology protects your users while remaining practical and efficient to operate.

Our team designs equipment that complies with cGMP and nuclear industry regulations, supporting you from early concept through verification. Using analytical and mathematical modelling, we identify risk, define shielding requirements and validate safety critical decisions long before hardware is built. Whether you need robust containment, safe workflow integration or evidence based design justification, we help you de risk your development and create reliable, regulation ready systems that stand up to real world clinical and manufacturing demands.

On site radiation capabilities

Our license to store and work with low-activity sealed sources of Beta and Gamma radiation in our radiation lab gives you access to specialised infrastructure designed to accelerate nuclear medicine development. For hot work with radiopharmaceuticals, our network of external partners complements our capability and offering.
The lab operates under validated safety protocols and risk assessments, and has been independently confirmed as compliant by a certified Radiation Protection Advisor (RPA).

With an in-house team of skilled personnel, including an appointed Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) and engineers experienced in handling radiation sources, we build reliability and established processes into your development from day one. Supported by trusted partners supplying tungsten and lead components and rapid prototyping capability, we provide a dependable environment to safely test, refine and validate your nuclear medicine technology.

Life cycle management

Whether you’re refining an on market system or preparing a next generation update, we focus on maximising the long term performance and commercial value of your medical devices and systems through targeted life cycle management.

Our engineering and human factors teams identify inefficiencies, simplify user interactions and help you minimise ongoing operational costs. By applying rigorous analysis, iterative testing and evidence based design improvements, we support you in extending your product’s lifetime and ensuring your technology continues to meet evolving clinical and regulatory expectations.

Regulatory support

Navigating regulatory expectations in nuclear medicine can be complex. Requirements for radiopharmaceutical manufacturing vary widely across regions, with US radiopharmacies operating under USP 797 and 825 at a state level, alongside ongoing legal grey areas and shifting expectations. European markets such as the UK, France and the Netherlands each impose different GMP requirements, and many US facilities are already transitioning to GMP to stay ahead of tightening regulations.

We help you find the right balance between manual and automated compounding. This is essential when radiation levels make manual dose preparation unsafe, while the cost of fully automated synthesis may be difficult to justify. We also support you in managing the significant regulatory workload, including activities such as QP release, so your development and manufacturing processes remain safe, auditable, and commercially viable.
