Tom graduated from the University of Cambridge with a master’s in mechanical and aerospace engineering. He then spent a year at a company developing devices for the vision science industry, working on projects all the way from the initial concept through to final manufacturing. One such project was a visual function assessment system for vision research and clinical drug trials.
