Teiba joined Team Consulting as a Mechanical Engineering Intern before commencing her penultimate year in Product Design Engineering MEng. (Hons) at Loughborough University. As part of her role, she uses her knowledge of human biology to support the mechanical engineering team in testing and design development.

For her dissertation, Teiba received sponsorship from The SpineCorporation Ltd to exploring novel additive manufacturing capabilities for 3D printing a scoliosis brace, where she worked closely with Orthotists and young patients. As a result from this research, she is in the process of producing 2 journal publications for her discoveries. During her placement year at Mediplus Ltd, Teiba worked on a range of medical devices from catheters to aesthetic lines, where she achieved ISO 13485 qualification in Medical Device QMS. Teiba aims to use her in-depth knowledge of medical device regulations to create innovative solutions.
