Peter is a member of the mechanical engineering group, where he contributes at a technical and project management level on a range of development projects. In addition to this, he is also involved in medtech business development commercial activities.

“For me, the most rewarding part of working in medical device development is the knowledge that, somewhere down the line, my effort will result in a direct improvement in the quality of a patient’s life. Whether this is as a result of a faster and more reliable diagnosis, or a simpler process for the health care provider reducing the chance of something going wrong.”

“I am excited by the prospect of working on the leading edge of development, with the consulting nature of our business meaning that I am always learning about new technologies and finding new ways to solve old problems. I am a strong believer in the use of system-based design to facilitate fast-paced risk based development, benefiting both the client and the project team.”

“I have found Team to be an environment of very intelligent and creative people working hard to achieve the best results for their clients, and by extension, the end user. The collaborative way in which we work makes the most of a wide range of knowledge and skills, as well as giving opportunities for individuals to grow and learn in a new field.”

Prior to joining Team, Peter gained seven years’ experience in the in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) device and product development industry at Invetech, based in Melbourne, Australia. His experience in both engineering and project management is across the full scope of the product development process, from initial core-technology development through to transfer to manufacture. Peter has a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University and was heavily involved in the design and manufacture of the Formula SAE vehicle.
