As Director, Advanced Medtech, Kate leads Team Consulting’s strategic growth across some of the most rapidly evolving, progressive and complex areas of healthcare innovation. She is responsible for building and expanding Team’s advanced MedTech offering, supporting clients as they navigate the technical, clinical and commercial challenges involved in next generation health technologies.

Her remit spans advanced therapies, diagnostics & monitoring, and advanced clinical & healthtech, with a focus on sectors transforming modern medicine — including cell and gene therapy, precision medicine, targeted and advanced delivery systems, nuclear medicine, diagnostics, surgical technology and neurotechnology. Kate brings together Team’s multidisciplinary expertise to support clients as they navigate scientific uncertainty, technical complexity and evolving health system needs.

Kate brings over 30 years of experience across the medical technology and pharmaceutical industries, spanning senior roles in industry, consulting and academia. She has worked across multiple sectors and development stages, specialising in market strategy, innovation, concept and product development, as well as risk management, due diligence and IP creation. Her experience also includes licensing, new company formation, spin out strategy and business planning.

Kate holds a degree in biomedical technology, a PhD in molecular biology and medical microbiology, and an MBA. She is also a Sainsbury Life Science Management Fellow.
