As Laboratory Manager, Jessica is responsible for looking after our state of the art calibrated equipment, from both a compliance and scheduling perspective. She ensures lab best practices are followed in everything that we do, and that anyone using the labs is fully aware and up to date with current policies. Jessica is also involved in space planning for projects, working closely with the facilities team.

“My job is very varied – every day is different, which is one of the things I like most about it. It’s fun getting to know and working with almost everyone in the business!”

“Medical devices are massively important, and the fact that such amazing things can come from little bits of plastic and metal is fascinating.”

Jessica is a molecular biologist by training, with a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of East Anglia. She worked doing routine drug product testing in the pharma industry before joining TwistDx, initially as a scientist before moving into a lab manager position. Jessica’s most recent role was at the University of Cambridge (Gurdon Institute) as Lab Manager.
