Jake joined the mechanical engineering team as an intern in 2019. During his time at the company, he will be applying the theoretical knowledge gained from his studies to real world applications.

“The medical industry is evolving and changing rapidly with improvements in technology that are having direct impacts on people’s lives. The ability to be part of projects that will make vast improvements to patients’ quality of lives, the way drugs are delivered and improvements to surgical procedures, is what really excites me, and it’s why my career aspirations are to be at the cutting edge of the medical engineering sector.”

Jake has just completed his second year at the University of Leeds where he is studying for a degree in Medical Engineering.
