Gudrun is an electronics & software engineer. In her role at Team, Gudrun applies her background in biomedical engineering to various projects, with a focus on embedded software development and software quality control.

“I’m excited to expand my knowledge of embedded software development and regulatory requirements by working on a wide variety of different projects. One of the best things about medical device development is that you can see how the work that we do improves the quality of peoples’ lives.”

Gudrun has a BSc degree from Reykjavik University and an MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London. Her Masters project included using 3D modelling and image registration to correlate joint shape with arthritis risk. Gudrun also completed an internship in quality control at Teva where she designed a computer system intended for long term planning of the testing of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
