Barry is responsible for the planning and delivery of large client projects at Team. Barry has almost 20 years’ experience in the in-vitro diagnostics and medical devices industry. During this time he has worked in product development, project management and has been responsible for the management of the operations department of a medical device start-up company.

The majority of Barry’s medical device experience is in developing diagnostic devices for both home and clinical use. He has experience of all parts of the product development cycle plus first-hand experience of setting up manufacturing in the Far East, verification testing of diagnostic devices using biological fluids/samples, liaison with the FDA on 510k submissions and sterilisation validation. He has a first-class degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bath and a PhD from the University of London.
