Andy joined Team in 2019 as ICT Project & Service Delivery Manager. His responsibilities include implementing internal IT projects, before passing them over to the support team, along with ongoing lifecycle support of those products and systems. Andy identifies requirements and implements suitable solutions. He ensures that our solutions are always up to date and efficiently managed, and looks ahead to replace solutions as business needs mature and evolve. Andy also builds and maintains relationships with third party suppliers, ensuring we work as well as possible with our external partners.

“It’s important to have ongoing challenges in my work and to enjoy working with like-minded people. I’m fortunate to like people, as building relationships with suppliers and within the company is important to me!”

“Wearing two different hats I’m constantly challenging myself to deliver. With projects it’s great to take something from conception through to completion and delivery. There aren’t many jobs where you can have that sense of achievement on regular basis, seeing something through from start to finish, and standing back before getting on with the next challenge.”

Andy began his ICT career working for a number of different companies as a network support engineer, having originally worked as a chef while doing business & finance BTEC. He studied Computer Science at Anglia Polytechnic University, and is also CCNA and Checkpoint certified. Andy moved to project management from network support, attaining PRINCE2 practitioner status and a Management of Risk foundation. For the last 12 years Andy has worked on numerous different projects for a couple of companies, including replacing the entire telephony system for the University of Cambridge.
