As a graduate mechanical engineer at Team Consulting, Afrin applies her creative problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to help deliver projects at various stages of the medical device development cycle.

Afrin graduated with a master’s degree in mechanical and bioengineering from the University of Cambridge where she completed a range of projects around medical device design. This included designing a test rig for a breath-actuated inhaler and developing a novel management system for minor traumatic brain injuries. As part of her Master’s project, Afrin worked on redesigning a capnograph for community triage applications in resource poor settings.
