Team nominated for UX Design Awards 2019
Team have been nominated for the UX Design Awards 2019. Our work developing a connected smart syringe solution and accompanying app, MagicPol, has been recognised as part of the Global Competition for Outstanding People Experiences.
After reviewing hundreds of entrants from over 20 countries, the #UXDA19 jury ultimately nominated 51 projects from companies including Philips, GE Healthcare and Samsung to participate in the awards.
All nominees will present their submissions to the public and experts in a special exhibition at the global technology show IFA in Berlin. If you want to learn more about MagicPol and our work in the digital space, Ben Cox, Head of Digital Design, will be at the show on 6th September.

Speaking ahead of the event, Ben said, “We’re excited to be selected for this UX showcase, alongside global leaders in design for healthcare. This nomination is a testament to our digital design capabilities and our holistic approach to medical device development. The MagicPol project allows us to demonstrate how thoughtful UX and UI design can add value to an existing product, creating a better experience for users without requiring them to modify their behaviour.”
“The UX Design Awards honour innovative solutions that add value to applications, technologies and services through positive experiences, and we are very happy to have had some excellent submissions from all around the globe this year,” said Ake Rudolf, Project Director of the Awards. “The projects nominated for the UX Design Awards 2019 perfectly illustrate the huge impact that people-centred design has on shaping a positive living environment for all.”
