As digital health solutions become more widespread across the industry, Team is increasing the growth of its digital UI/UX capabilities in line with growing demand from clients. We are proud to announce that Ben Cox was recently appointed Head of Digital Design.

With more than 10 years of experience working in healthcare technology research and innovation, Ben will now head up Team’s Digital UI/UX capabilities, bringing to bear his extensive experience in medical device development.

Team has worked for many years on numerous digital design projects, and this appointment represents a firm commitment to our digital offering.

During his time as Senior Human Factors Consultant, Ben has worked closely with industrial designers, UI/UX designers and engineers blending creative and analytical approaches to optimise usability and user experience across a broad range of medical device projects. He has gained valuable experience across both physical and digital media and most importantly developed a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by the industry when developing solutions for a regulated market.

Ben’s new role will allow Team to build on the strong foundations it has developed over the past years in digital design, ensuring we continue to provide a world class service as this fast-moving sector develops. Ben will be leveraging Team’s research, design and development expertise, together with the latest technologies in prototyping and testing, to drive an effective digital design process working in an agile way. When asked what he was looking forward to in his new role, Ben said:

“Working alongside designers and software engineers, I have lived and breathed the journey of bringing a complex embedded UI through design and development. I’m excited to grow our capability in UX and UI design and I’m particularly interested in challenges where the digital and physical worlds collide. Ultimately, it’s about working with our clients to improve patient experience and achieve improved outcomes.”
