The innovative Tympa System – a portable all-in-one hearing health assessment system, developed by TympaHealth in collaboration with Team Consulting – has been awarded this years’ Gold UX Design Award (UXDA) by the International Design Centre in Berlin. This is the pre-eminent award celebrating outstanding user experience.
Half a billion people in the world currently suffer from hearing loss. Whilst hearing can often be improved by simple ear wax removal, access to hearing services is disjointed. Patients often go back and forth between ear wax removal services and hearing test/aid providers.
Tympa Health is making successful hearing healthcare more accessible. The Tympa System is a portable smartphone-enabled otoscope with an accompanying smartphone app; the device assists at every stage of care, from regular check-ups, full ear examinations and hearing tests to safe wax removal via microsuction.
