Supporting global innovation – Team appoints Peter Thier

At Team Consulting, we have been supporting our global client base with their medical technology innovations for almost 40 years. As we continue to help more companies achieve their medical device goals, we’ve been expanding our US-based team. Our latest addition is Peter Thier, SVP Business Development (US).

Peter brings a wealth of expertise to Team. With over 25 years in the medical industry, including several senior roles in technology consulting and product development, Peter is adept at helping device manufacturers solve their complex medical challenges and bring their innovations to market.

We spoke to Peter to find out what he’s looking forward to achieving with our clients in his new role.

What do you enjoy about working in medical technology development?
“I enjoy working in technical consultancies as they keep me grounded to my early days as a medical device development engineer. I love the exposure we get to new technologies, the pace at which we get to work and the breadth of life-enhancing / life-saving innovations we get to help bring to market.”

What excites you about joining Team and starting to work with our clients?
“I’m over the moon about getting to be a part of Team. The stellar reputation, the opportunity to again collaborate with some of my favourite people in our industry and the knowledge that my colleagues strive every day to ensure our clients’ success – I couldn’t ask for a better place to call home at this stage of my career.”

How do you help clients add value to their projects?
“I try to add value to our clients by digging deep early in the engagement to ensure we have a full understanding of the challenges ahead and can design a programme to address those challenges directly. I’m a strong client advocate and a believer in honesty, fit and transparency. There will be hard times that we come across in every programme – it’s how we deal with those together that builds long-term partnerships.”
