ISCT 2025

Meet our team at ISCT 2025 – the largest cell and gene therapy translation conference of the year! Join us and 3,000+ delegates as we immerse ourselves in the future of cell and gene therapy.

ISCT – the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy Conference provides a program of 50+ roundtables to tackle practical problems facing the cell and gene therapy translation sector, global showcase presentations to highlight innovative technologies and thought-provoking talks from global opinion leaders.

Catch our experts’ posters in the afternoon Poster Networking Sessions, covering user-centered design for effective cGMP compliance and new approaches to small-batch cell therapy manufacture.

Reach out to Team Consulting ahead of the ISCT conference to discuss how our expertise in applied science, engineering and user-centered design can advance your innovation, from concept through to commercialisation and beyond.

User-centered design for effective cGMP compliant, automated bioprocessing platforms in cell & gene therapies

Poster Networking Reception 2 | Thursday 8th May, 6-7:30pm

In this poster session, Kate Hudson-Farmer will present guidance on developing efficient and user-friendly designs for automated bioprocessing platforms with strong adoption potential, including:

  • The importance of user-centered design in the creation of automated bioprocessing platforms to improve regulatory compliance (cGMP/GAMP) and usability for therapy developers, increasing the accessibility of life-saving therapies
  • Why end users should be involved early on in development to identify common pain points and help shape friction-free workflows that create reliable, cost-effective systems
  • How well-designed, user-friendly platforms support personalised cell and gene therapies that are more accessible and scalable.

Demonstrating new approaches to small-batch cell therapy manufacture through a label-free microfuidic cell sorter

Poster Networking Reception 2 | Thursday 8th May, 6-7:30pm

In this poster session, Max Chambers, applied scientist at Team, will examine a case study to explore innovative approaches to cell therapy manufacture. The poster will provide insight into:

  • How small-batch cell therapy production can be automated using simple, inexpensive tools
  • A novel approach to cell separation using a machine learning algorithm to guide a microfluidic sorter to identify and sort cells based on morphology, eliminating the need for external labels
  • How integrating AI and decentralised technologies can streamline cell therapy production, making personalised therapies more efficient and scalable.
