Building the Team – new appointments at leading
development consultancy
Brennan Miles was a Senior Scientist in the
design team at Pfizer before joining Team as
a Product Design Consultant. Bridging the design
and engineering disciplines, his key area of
interest is in creating products that not only
meet the requirements of the technical specification,
but are easy and pleasurable to use.
Design Engineer Oliver Harvey joins Team from
Sagentia, bringing engineering experience and
a keen interest in mechanism design which is
already playing a valuable role in a surgical
device development for one of Team’s European
clients.
And Phil Canner is combining his postgraduate
training in classical singing at the Guildhall
School of Music and Drama with a role as a Team
design engineer. After a degree in Mechanical
Engineering at Cambridge, Phil spent three years
working at The Automation Partnership. He is
looking forward to applying his laboratory automation
skills in the broader medical arena, and has
a particular interest in developing his skills
in user interaction design.
Despite prevailing economic uncertainty, Team
has an extremely healthy order book and continues
to work with medical and lifescience clients
across Europe and the US. Helping to deliver
outstanding product development programmes for
our clients are John McGarva and Steve Marshall,
consultants to Team. John and Steve have worked
extensively in medical device and systems development,
with recent spells at Cambridge Consultants and
TTP.
