Isobel is a mechanical engineer at Team Consulting. Working across a variety of projects, she applies her mechanical and bioengineering background to areas including math modelling.
“I’ve known for a while that I wanted to go into medical device engineering – that’s why working at Team was so appealing, as it’s solely medical focused. I like mechanical engineering because I love designing things and feeling the satisfaction of seeing my ideas working physically.”
Isobel graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Bioengineering. Her final Master’s project looked at developing methods of analysing bone structure, with the long term goal of improving osteoporosis diagnoses. Before joining Team, Isobel also undertook a number of internships, including a placement at Xaar looking at material characterisation, predicting how different fluids & materials would react with each other.
