Respected drug delivery expert David Harris joins “dream” Team

David Harris to lead Team’s further development in pulmonary and nasal drug delivery

Team Consulting is very excited to announce that David Harris has joined the company as Principal Consultant. As well as developing a number of new inhalers and devices since 1994, David regularly presents at the major conferences in the drug delivery sector and is a published author in a wide variety of science and trade journals; as a result he has established a reputation globally as an expert in his field. By joining Team he is joining a company with a growing reputation as the global authority in medical device development. A point highlighted by the fact that Team counts six of the world’s 10 biggest pharmaceutical companies as clients.

David’s role will see him lead a number of projects in pulmonary and nasal drug delivery, as well as further increase Team’s market share in this important area. He joins from Sagentia where he was Principal Consultant for the last two years, and before that Cambridge Consultants, where he invented the Conix inhaler platform and occupied key roles – including Chief Technologist – for eight years.

“It’s fantastic to be here. I’ve known Team and some of the people who work here for a number of years, and I’ve always been aware of the reputation that they have for their approach and expertise. They have some of the brightest brains in the medical sector, so it feels like I’m joining a medical device dream team, and I can’t wait to get started.”

David is the third new starter in 2011 and follows the appointment of Dan Flicos, ex-Managing Director of Sagentia, as Chief Commercial Officer, and Neil Cooper who joins as Marketing & Communications Manager, and who previously worked for Cambridge Consultants.
