User Research Consultant

Team Consulting, the expert in medical product development, is looking to recruit a User Research Consultant to join their world-renowned team in Cambridge, UK.

Employing sound research methodologies, your focus will be to design and implement programmes of user research as part of product development and design projects in the healthcare and life sciences industry. Importantly, your emphasis will be on usability related research and the analytical assessment of risks associated with the use of a device or product.

Working internationally you’ll need to be self-sufficient, committed, dynamic, calm under pressure, honest, sensitive, positive, confident and an exceptional time manager. Successful candidates will need to possess an honours degree (or equivalent), a proven track record in the design and implementation of research projects in one or more of the fields of psychology, market research, design research and human factors/ergonomics. You’ll also need to be aware of the regulatory framework relating to medical device development and have a proven track record in the planning, executing and reporting of user validation studies.
