Industrial Designer

Team Consulting is looking to recruit an exceptionally talented Industrial Designer to join its growing team of Cambridge based experts to develop innovative medical devices.

We’re looking for a bright designer with outstanding abilities and we want the best! Our Industrial Design team is made up of passionate, highly-experienced and award-winning designers drawn from both the healthcare industry and from the wider design community who are driven by a desire to improve people’s lives with products that are both appealing and easy to use. We need to increase our team and want to bring in an individual who can keep us on our toes. Maybe you bring experience from a different industry sector that will help us challenge and develop the way we work, maybe you have a particular specialism that will add to our current offering, maybe you’ve worked for one of the top design consultancies or consumer or medical products companies. Or maybe you’ve not had the opportunity yet to develop your skills to their full potential but, given the chance to work as part of a design team within an internationally renowned product development consultancy, the natural talent and insight that you possess will rapidly develop.

If successful you’ll be working for some of the biggest names and most innovative companies in the medical industry on products that have the potential to change and save lives.  From handheld drug delivery devices and surgical equipment through to cutting edge medical technology and consumer medical products, you’ll be contributing to the full design process from strategic direction setting, interaction design, development of visual language and detailed design for manufacture. Often working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of designers, engineers, and human factors experts, you’ll be the person who helps ensure that users can and want to use the products that we create.
